DingIT.com was designed to deliver the maximum benefit with minimum effort. Therefore, the process of requesting, generating and receiving estimates is very simple and consists of three steps:
- Car owners request free estimates
- From http://www.DingIT.com minimal vehicle information is supplied.
- The areas from which free estimates are requested are selected.
- A few digital pictures that show the dent are uploaded.
- Then the case is submitted. By submitting the case, a free account is automatically created.

- Auto Body Shops Send Back Estimates
- Whenever a new request for an estimate is submitted, the auto body shops in the specified areas get email notifications
- The auto body shop owners/managers access their free DingIT.com account and view the case.
- Then, using their estimating system (e.g Mitchell's UltraMate) they generate the estimate.
- Lastly, by using an agent on their desktop they send the estimates, via DingIT.com, to the car owners.
- The Car Owners Get And Evaluate The Estimates
- When new estimates are submitted, the car owners get email notifications.
- Then they log into their free DingIT.com account and view the estimates.
- After evaluating the estimates they choose the auto body shop they want to take their car to.
From that point on, the car owners and the body shops communicate and close the deal directly.
Of course, along the entire process, DingIT.com's technical and management teams are always available to assist both parties. Furthermore, DingIT technical and administrative personnel are constantly monitoring the process to ensure the highest quality of service.
